Pat Delaney , IFATSEA VP and ICAO Liaison have just announced the confirmation of acceptance by ICAO of a WP on ATSEP Training to the 41st ICAO Assembly, related to the very crucial issue of Cybersecurity within ANSPs.
IFATSEA is participating in the upcoming ICAO General Assembly in Montreal. IFATSEA has met the ICAO deadline for submission of working paper in all 6 ICAO languages and has been duly accepted and recognized by ICAO.
The WP has been included in the TECHNICAL COMMISSION work under Agenda Item 31: Aviation Safety and Air Navigation Standardization.
It is titled “ UPDATE EXISTING ATSEP CYBERSECURITY TRAINING OBJECTIVES AND DEVELOPMENT OF NEW ATSEP CYBERSECURITY TRAINING OBJECTIVES”.
IFATSEA invites all aviation stakeholders to support this WP as it addresses a very important issue.
