IFATSEA PRESS RELEASE – [May 27, 2025]
Lisbon, Portugal – The International Federation of Air Traffic Safety Electronics Associations (IFATSEA) is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of a series of productive meetings with INDRA, a global leader in air traffic management technology, during Airspace World 2025 in Lisbon.
The discussions, held over the course of the event, focused on deepening the partnership between IFATSEA and INDRA, exploring a shared vision for the future of air traffic safety electronics and innovation in air traffic management systems. The meetings yielded a number of exciting ideas aimed at strengthening collaboration, promoting knowledge sharing, and supporting technological advancement across the sector.
“We were delighted to meet with INDRA at Airspace World and explore new ways of working together,” said Ing. Frank Apeagyei, President of IFATSEA. “The exchange of ideas was dynamic and constructive, and we are enthusiastic about the potential for future joint initiatives that will enhance the role of ATSEPs and improve the safety and efficiency of global airspace.”
Key topics included advancing collaboration frameworks for Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel (ATSEPs), identifying opportunities for joint workshops and technical forums, and aligning on future challenges and solutions in CNS/ATM systems.
Both IFATSEA and INDRA reaffirmed their commitment to continued collaboration and the development of innovative, safety-driven solutions for the aviation industry.
